EPAHS FIRST

I don't know if I've been out of the loop or just resisting, but I'm biting the bullet and joining whatI'm now willing to accept is not a fad: the world of blogging.

Team 1970 had a great day on Tuesday, as we worked on both the structural components and the electronics. The students rearranged the frame and also reconfigured the wheels using the ball bearings and appropriate spacers to make the sprockets work correctly. We're working on filing down the bolts we bought for axles, so that they will fit through the bearings for this afternoon.

Today (thursday) we will finish assembling the wheels and hopefully attach them to the frame. Home depot did not have chain breakers, but we can try to pick one up this afternoon in Palo Alto so that we can finally attach the two motors.

Leah is also looking forwardto some hardcore programming and electronics work, and we're hoping to get some students involved in the process as well.

Finally, we're all VERY excited about a big push this Saturday! We'll be here on EPAHS campus beginning at 10:00 am and hopefully have as much of the team as possible in one place---at the same time!!

Looking forward to seeing as many people as possible this afternoon and on Saturday. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
